Masters Dreams Are On the Line at VCT 2022 North America Stage 2 Final Four

We’re down to the last four in the VCT 2022 North American Stage 2 Playoffs! It comes down to XSET and OpTic in the top bracket, fighting for a place in the finals, while NRG Esports and FaZe Clan battle it out in the lower bracket for survival, and a chance at the finals series.

Two North American teams will go to Copenhagen to compete in the Stage 2 Masters tournament. When it comes to winning the regional VCT final, getting there isn’t everything.

XSET Goes Up Against OpTic Gaming

Unsurprisingly, the two teams who won the group stage are competing for a position in the finals. Given their previous results this season, OpTic are the obvious favorites, but we cannot underestimate XSET, who sent players like 100T and Ghost packing. When it comes to Valorant betting, it would be preferable to wager on XSET to pull off the upset since the odds are massively against them. Everyone expects OpTic, the Reykjavik champions, to win their series in order to advance to the finals. I usually agree with the predictions.

North America will be sending an entirely fresh group of teams to a tournament abroad in the unlikely event that XSET wins a final but OpTic ultimately loses. This has occurred four out of the five times thus far.

FaZe Clan Versus NRG Esports

In the top bracket of the VCT 2022 North America Stage 2 Playoffs, FaZe Clan faced 100 Thieves in the first match. The fact that both clubs had sizable fan bases increased the significance of the game. FaZe Clan were only one round away from the top bracket after the conclusion of a very tight match. They were demoted to the lower group since they lost that round.

NRG seems to be an easier opponent after their victory against 100Thieves.
